It houses a manual-winding movement with 17 jewels. The watch is paired with an aftermarket stainless steel bracelet featuring a folding buckle.
Timestar was a brand owned by a historic Mumbai based watch manufacturer named IFTI (Indo French Time Industries).
The cushion-shaped case has a width (3H to 9H) of 36.50mm and length of 41.70mm. Other features include a domed glass and steel screw-in case-back.
