This good condition Seiko 5 automatic vintage watch features a white dial and a distinct diagonal lines pattern from 9H to 3H. This model in stainless steel has a slightly domed bezel ring topped with a flat crystal. 

The watch features a calendar display at 3 o’ clock and the time/day/date setting crown is at 4 o’clock. Both the day and date are quickset. The day is bilingual: Arabic and English.

The date can be adjusted by pulling the crown to date-setting position and rotating anticlockwise. The day can be adjusted by pushing the crown inwards in the neutral position.

This vintage Seiko 5 watch is powered by the Seiko 7009 automatic movement with 17 jewels, Diashock anti-shock device, and bi-directional winding rotor. It doesn’t have hacking seconds and hand-winding options.

The case diameter is 35.40mm and the lug to lug length is 41.40mm.

The steel screw-in case-back features the numbers 7009 3101 and 1N8134.

This example is paired with a Seiko signed stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
