This extremely rare and good condition vintage HMT Jawahar hand-wound mechanical watch from the 1970s features a silver-toned sunburst-finished patina dial with steel hour and minute hands, red seconds-hands and the emblematic square-brick indices.

It has a cushion-shaped steel case topped with a domed glass.  The case-back is screw-in type. The watch is powered by the iconic HMT 0231 manual-winding movement with 17 jewels.

The case has a width (3h to 9h) of 37.50mm including the crown and length of 44.45mm.

This timepiece is paired with a brown-colored aftermarket leather strap featuring a gold-toned pin buckle.

The watch is in very good condition and ready to wear.
